The timber-clad vaulted ceiling of the living area soars 3 metres high to take in the views to the mountains, so close by. Everything has been curated for your comfort, with deep sofas and an efficient fireplace that is also beautiful. It is spacious and open plan so the kitchen is designed aesthetically to fit its space, creating an ambiance that celebrates sociability.

The four bedrooms sleep eight guests in two doubles and two twins with more luxuries to make your holiday sparkle like fresh snow. The bathroom to the master bedroom has its private Hammam, there is a sauna for that wonderful feeling of defrosting through to your core after a day out in crisp mountain air, and there is under-floor heating throughout. Two bedrooms are en-suites and the other two share a bathroom to which they both have access from each bedroom a Jack-and-Jill arrangement according to interior designers who know about these things.

When you are staying in a resort with epic skiing across a vast terrain, that is rich with mountain restaurants and where après ski, every now and again, calls like the sirens’ song, life needs flexibility. Le Cygne is self-catering, you can choose your schedule. But that doesn’t mean you seek the mundanities of daily living; you don’t bicker about who didn’t clear up the breakfast in heaven. A daily clean (5 days a week) solves that. An all-day driver service is also an answer to the prayers of certain kind of Trois Vallee’s devoté. Sometimes lunch meets up with après ski, they enjoy each other’s company so much that lift times swirl in the mists. Sometimes you need a lift to or from another part of an extensive lift system.
