What is going to be the lasting memory that makes this year’s ski holiday stand out above all previous years?
That lunch of Savoyard delicacies at La Fruitiere? The bluebird day where you skied from first to last lift? Or quite possibly the twinkling, glistening, unobstructed view of the Manchet Valley from Chalet Daria?
Situated on the edge of Le Châtelard, Chalet Daria is your beautiful luxury chalet set in a location that most skiers can only dream of. You can stop dreaming and believe because that view isn’t going to go anywhere. Every room has a balcony, perfect for a quick top up of those views, incase you start doubting the wow factor. After all, you have a lot to take in this week. We could start with the striking pool, hamman and sauna room or the six mouth-watering afternoon teas. Oh and not forgetting the complimentary beer and wine, the delicious freshly prepared dinners and the fluffy bathrobes. You can walk around in them all day if you so desire, this is your time and you can spend it exactly how you wish.
Fluffy bathrobe to perfectly pre-warmed ski boots, you should definitely take advantage of Chalet Daria’s location. Views like this and skiing from your door? You’ll have to steal yourself away at the end of the week. Anyway, enough talk about the end of the week, there is skiing to be done.
Feel privileged each and every morning, by taking advantage of being able to ski straight onto the Santons piste and down to the main lift station. From there, the world is your oyster…or shall we say the Espace Killy is your playground. Just incase time escapes you and you find yourself staying at La Fruitiere just that little bit longer than you hoped, fear not. As Chalet Daria’s resident, clock watching for last lifts is a nuisance of the past. Return home from either the Solaise or Bellevarde Mountains, picking either a black, red or blue piste, dependent on how much wine came with your lunch.
Just incase the crackle of the open log fire, the afternoon cake’s cream cheese and lime frosting and the views of the Manchet Valley become too much, please don’t worry. Your 4x4 Land Rover is just a slipping on of a ski jacket away and town awaits.
Actually, maybe do just keep an eye on your vin chaud and the time. You don’t want to risk missing your special request for dinner. After all, it’s the only table in town to have consulted with you pre arrival on your menu preferences.Last sip.
Au revoir après. Bonsoir Daria.
