A spacious, beautifully appointed home that happens to sit on a slope just above one of the world’s most iconic ski resorts, but it is a home that wraps itself around you, reassuringly. Pretty on the outside, when you are inside there is no mistaking that you are in an alpine chalet, although one with a sophisticated interior design theme that does alpine with a pleasingly modern twist. That spaciousness is cleverly deployed, making good use of levels, and has been used with insight. Who wants a barn of a living room when the party needs to gather on massive sofas and talk to each other! The apartment within the chalet is such an intelligent way of allowing a large party contingent independence and sociability. Sonos systems throughout the living areas and the spa add to the relaxed quality of your own space. A proper study, with its large desk, its leather, its book-lined walls, is thoroughly comforting as well as atmospheric.

However, not many homes are a short walk or drive from ski lifts that access such an abundance of skiing.
